A MUSEUM display chronicling the past of the borough from prehistoric times to the present day is due to open.
Bromley Museum will open an interactive gallery on March 22, displaying artefacts and exploring some of the facts about Bromley's past.
Visitors will be encouraged to try on Tudor costumes, complete puzzles and even try their hand at making Roman floor mosaics.
Items on display will include a Tudor cavalry helmet found in a pond in St Mary Cray and a 300-year-old leather shoe which was recently found behind a chimney in Farnborough.
The gallery, at the museum in Church Hill, Orpington, will be formally opened by the mayor of Bromley Councillor Joan Wykes at 6.30pm.
