A FAMILY show recreates an epic saga of gods, men and monsters. The ancient Greek legend of Jason and the Argonauts is brought to life at Greenwich Theatre next week.
Jason and his crew aboard the Argo face countless perils in their quest for the Golden Fleece. They encounter clashing rocks, low-flying harpies, fire-breathing bulls and the deadly sweet music of the sirens.
Greenwich Theatre director Hilary Strong says she wants to encourage families to bring youngsters to the theatre, so all children's tickets for the show are half price.
She said: "There's nothing more exciting than seeing a theatre full of children completely engrossed by a great show."
Jason and the Argonauts, March 14 - 18, Greenwich Theatre, Crooms Hill, £16-£18/children half price. Call 020 8858 4447 for tickets and times.
