A COUNTRY park is to get its 15 minutes of fame in a television documentary about the Second World War.
Jubilee Country Park, Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, will feature in Channel 4 programme, The Real Dad's Army.
Due to be screened on March 13, the park will feature in the last of a three-part series on the home defence of Britain.
The park was a base for the Home Guard during the war and was home to heavy anti-aircraft guns, a fact discovered by the Friends of Jubilee Country Park group.
Chairman of the group, Jenny Randall, said: "When the production company approached us about doing something for Channel 4, it was a dream come true."
