BUDDING playwrights and poets have a chance to test how good their work is in a competition organised by Bexley Arts Council.
People aged over 14 who live, work or go to school or college in the borough are being asked to submit their work as part of the arts council's competitive festival for speech and drama.
Original poems and one-act plays, prose reading and solo dramatic recitals are just some of the categories in the event, which will be held at the Edward Alderton Theatre, Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, on May 6.
If you are interested in entering, call the arts council on 020 8301 5806 for a brochure or send an email to enquiries@acob.fsnet.co.uk with your name and address.
