PERFECT ANSWER: The Charlton Athletic Supporters' Club's office at The Valley has now closed for the duration of the building work on the north stand, but co-ordinator Wendy Perfect will still take travel bookings on her home number of 020 8306 2049 on weekdays from 9.30am-2.30pm.

FIRST LAYER: Before departing on their pre-season tour of Japan, Charlton will first play a friendly against Colchester United at Layer Road on July 21 at 3pm.

LADIES OFF: The Charlton women's team suffered another postponement on Sunday, as their match against Barry Town was called off. Charlton face Southampton at Graves-end's Stonebridge Road ground tomorrow (Thursday, 7.45pm) and Sunderland at Bromley on Sunday at 12.30pm.
