WHY do moaners keep on about the Biggin Hill flight paths?
That airfield has been there since 1916 so anyone moving inot the area since then knows it's there. It's like moving near a railway station an moaning about the trains.
If you want to moan about noise walk along any High Street and suffer the continuously deafened by busses, lorries, cars and motorbikes.
As for low flying aircraft, one of the best examples I saw was a German bomber skimming the chimney pots of Orpington hotly pursued by a RAF Hurricane.
But that is history - easily forgotten. Do the moaners ever think about aircraft noise when they take off from Gatwick on their jolly hols? I doubt it.
