The greatest white soul voice of all time, Dusty Springfield, will sing out again on Sunday at Fairfield, when Karen Noble returns with her tribute to the star.

A short way into this

second tour Karen is still bursting with enthusiasm for her work and admiration for the late, great Dusty.

"She was a such a fascinating lady. Her life was emotional and traumatic, " she said.

"I discovered her in the 80s.

I trained to be an opera singer and studied classical music at college in Manchester.

"I then got into light music and went on to do impersonations.

"With this show I have copies of Dusty's gowns and wear three wigs. I must be a good advert for Boots as I have to use masses of coal black mascara and then eye make-up remover pads!"

Karen says her show attracts a large gay following.

"Dusty was an icon and my audiences are very responsive. I love keeping her music and her memory alive."

Dusty - The Concert is at Fairfield on Sunday, November 18 at 7.30pm.

Tickets priced £12.50 and £10.50 are available from the box office on 020 8688 9291.
