ANNUAL CONFERENCE: Speakers at Bexley's Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership's annual conference included representatives from Ofsted and the Department for Education and Skills as well as the Thomas Coram Research Unit. They discussed the role of men working in nurseries. Successful NVQ students were also presented with their certificates by assistant education director Jim Agnew.

THIRD AGE: Bexley University of the Third Age offers retired people the chance to use their skills and learn new ones. New members are always welcome at the monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month at Roberts Hall, behind Christ Church, Bexleyheath Broadway, at 1.45pm.
