The Miskin Theatre Christmas tradition continues this month with a new production for young children.

The Rainbow Goblins offers entertainment without a trace of pantomime. It is designed for children aged six to 10 and promises to be a night to remember.

Join the mischievous Goblins who have stolen all the colour in the world and have no intention of giving it back. Daisy, Action Dan, Barmy Barbie and the wombats and friends set out on the trip of a lifetime to help take the colour back: "It's easy I have a flan!"

"Don't you mean a plan?"

"No, I mean a flan! Just hold it in your hand stand on the bed and say Somewhere over the rainbow, weigh a pie"

You'll have to get down to the theatre to find out what happens next!

The cast of 30 will be up to all sorts of feats including stilt-waking, acrobatics, roller skating and unicycling.

Rachel Light, a member of the company, said: "It's a bit of a Miskin tradition that the cast get the audience up for a dance at the end. It's great fun for the little ones but all the adults really enjoy it too."

She said there will be theatre and design workshops for children to make masks and cards and matinees will also be available. They are largely pre-booked by schools but it is worth ringing to see if there are any places still available.
