PLANS for a 500-room four-star hotel at Stansted Airport.
The hotel will be built by Rezidor SAS Hospitality, part of the Scandinavian SAS Airline group, on a five-acre site next to the terminal building. It is scheduled to open by the end of 2003.
BAA Stansted managing director John Stent said: "This is very good news. It will be a first-class facility run by a leading hotel operator."
