I write with regards to a recent letter ( 'Just for the record' Times, November 22).
I think I am right in thinking that Turkey is illegally occupying the north of Cyprus. People were fighting for the freedom of Cyprus.
Brits, Greeks, Turks and Cypriots were killed. Unfortunately, that is what happens. Britain, Turkey and Greece were supposed to protect Cyprus. Britain and Greece opted out and let Turkey invade Cyprus, so there is every reason for all countries to support Cyprus. I am sorry that John Mason objects. The fact remains: injustice equals terrorism!
