So, 57,000 people from all over the country signed up the petition to encourage Barnet Council to obliterate 30,000 square metres of Green Belt to build another football stadium.

Why, since less than 2,000 people bother to turn up for matches? What business is it of theirs? They do not live in the borough.

Why does the sentence 'all mouth and no trousers' come to mind? All jokes apart, what is the real reason for the sacrifice of the Green Belt?

Just a thought what about moving Barnet Football Club to Birmingham (a nice central location) so that all 57,000 fans can travel more easily to support their favourite club?
