You may know Consignia Post Office Ltd are about to close down East Croydon General Post Office early next year.
I'm an ardent user of this P.O. along with countless others and we do not want it closed.
I live in a retirement complex and most of the residents are of the same opinion.
Yes, it is just as easy using the High Street P.O. but, I have used East Croydon General for the last 30 years and most of the counter staff are good friends.
It is them I am protesting for.
Many were standing outside this P.O. last Saturday in the cold weather giving their own time to collect signatures against the closure.
On their behalf, I hope your paper can print an article to let Consignia know it is the peoples' decision not to close this Post Office.
