AUDIENCES received a real treat last week when the Friends of Shooting Star took to the stage.
The amateur dramatic group shone during their performance season of Scrooge at the Paul Robeson Theatre in Hounslow High Street.
Director Paul Joyce said: "We played from November 28 to December 1 and every night the theatre was packed to the rafters. We put the play on to raise money for the Shooting Star Trust, a charity which is trying to build a hospice for terminally ill children." More than £7,000 was raised.
