Local golfers who want to get into the swing of things for 2002 are welcome to visit Chipstead Golf Club on Saturday at 2pm for an open day.
The event will last an hour and a half and will include a tour of the club's facilities and a view of the course at the private members club.
Director of golf, Gary Torbett said: "We have recently carried out major improvements to all our greens so that we are better placed to accommodate golf throughout the winter.'' Tickets are available from the club on 01737 554939.
