Amateur boxer Bobby Bryant from New Addington ABC comfortably saw off Bavavash of Barking ABC last week.
The pair fought at the South Norwood and Victory Show on Thursday, November 29 and Bryant extended his winning record.
In the first round Bryant took control with his jab. Bavavash came forward to pressure his opponent but Bryant blocked every time.
In the second round, Bavavash tried changing roles by leading off with the jab and short combinations but Bryant covered up well. By the end of the roun, Bryant was in control again.
Both boys came out to win in the final round but neither could assert their dominance. Bryant was eventually awarded the points decision.
