THE homeless and needy inhabitants of Haringey will be given the chance to have a free health check-up and hot meal next week.
The event will be held on Sunday, December 16, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 255 West Green Road in south Tottenham.
The medical help on hand will include tests for blood pressure and diabetes and advice on weight control. The hot Christmas meal will be served between 12.30 and 2pm, and clothes, games, books and toys will also be available.
The event will be ongoing from 10am until 3pm and examinations will be undertaken by health professionals. If you want more information about the day, call Maxine Donovan on 8885 5043.
