WHEN are the residents going to wake up to the fact that this council is slowly killing off our social services?

We are looking at the cutting of day centres, meals on wheels, the bathing service, Shopmobility and many other things.

It seems that the elderly and the disabled are going to be killed off for the mistakes that our council has made.

This council's actions will hardly appear attractive to potential new residents and businesses. It is the quality of service that makes an area attractive or not.

Could not the cost of the new library be delayed while social services finances are sorted out, thus preventing the cuts?
