Eton Manor28

ETON Manor's long trip to Suffolk on Saturday proved to be a rewarding one as they claimed a thumping win.

In blustery conditions the visitors took hold of the game from the start, though they were unable to make the pressure pay dividends against a resolute Lowestoft defence to cross the line and it was a penalty from Greg Anderson that finally broke the deadlock.

This settled the visitors and within two minutes Scott Nelson grabbed a try that was also converted to give Manor a half-time lead of 10-0.

Eton Manor continued to dominate the second half, but once again it took them a while to increase their score. Their lead was eventually added to by Greg Anderson, who scored two penalties within five minutes of each other after 65 minutes.

With Lowestoft visibly wilting, further pressure from Manor saw two further tries from Greg Anderson and Huynh Luong, of which the later was converted to give the visitors a highly satisfactory win.
