TOTTENHAM face another London derby, their fourth in three weeks, on Saturday when they take on Charlton at the Valley.

After taking three points from a hard fought battle with Bolton on Monday, Spurs will be looking to turn the Addicks over in a bid to climb higher up the Premiership table.

It was captain Sheringham who came up with the winner on Monday at White Hart Lane, leaving it as late as the 85th minute to clinch the points for Glenn Hoddles blue and white army.

Bolton took an early lead through the in-form Michael Ricketts, who cut in from the left hand side of the box to shoot the Trotters ahead within just seven minutes.

Spurs then went all out up front, bringing on Les Ferdinand for Steffen Freund at half time, to join Sergei Rebrov and Sheringham up front.

The gamble paid off as Spurs scored twice in a minute, the first coming after Ferdinand's header rebounded off the post for Gus Poyet to head home.

Spurs then went ahead after Bolton had a penalty appeal turned down by referee Paul Durkin, when Ferdinand showed just how good an asset he is to have on the pitch rather than the bench as he slipped the ball past Jaaskelainen in the Bolton goal.

Bolton pushed on and equalised thanks to some untidy goalkeeping from Sullivan, Rod Wallace capitalising to pull the teams even again on 56 minutes.

Just as it looked as though the spoils would be shared, Sheringham grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck to make sure that Spurs would not be so gracious as to let their visitors have a look in on the points.

Speaking after the game, Glenn Hoddle said: "The first half was frustrating because we needed blind runs and overlaps to stretch them."
