I AM looking for ex-pupils of Luctons-Epping Forest High School who left during the 1980s.
There is a reunion planned for Saturday, May 25, at the Cottage Loaf Function Room, Jessel Drive, Loughton. I have been helped by the now popular website 'Friends Reunited' and have managed to find quite a few old school friends, but there is always room for more.
I left in 1984 after staying on in the sixth form. I was also in the school band and a few drama productions.
Epping Forest High was formed from the amalgamation of Lucton Boys and Lucton Girls in 1980. By the end of the 80s or early 90s the school was closed and pupils transferred to Roding Valley.
The 80s was the end of an era for the schools in Homecroft Gardens and Borders Lane.
Anyone interested in attending the reunion should call Sue Stephen on 020 8924 2846. Tickets are £8.
I am looking for old photos or school uniforms from the school.
