Every year the council raises our council tax because of an overspend - on what?
The roads are never swept so forests of weeds grow in our gutters, our drains are continually blocked, our roads have large potholes and more appear daily.
The grass verges are allowed to grow a foot high before they are touched, our trees haven't had branches cut for over eight years, despite their so-called three year rolling programme.
Some of these problems could be overcome by bringing back the road-sweepers we used to have years ago.
Not only would they remove weeds and unblock drains, they could also report back on any problems, ie potholes etc.
