Three Carshalton Athletic players were transfer-listed this week and another was expected to follow yesterday (Thursday) as manager Graham Roberts weeds out his playing staff in an effort to get the Robins' title charge back on track.
Striker Des Boateng, and midfielders Tommy Williams and Baroan Tagro have been released by Roberts, who because of budget restraints needed to off-load players before signing new ones.
The Robins boss has certainly wasted no time in bringing fresh faces to the club and, earlier this week, secured the services of former Dulwich Hamlet defender Al-James Hannigan, who comes to Colston Avenue on a month's loan from Bishop's Stortford, and Chesham United centre-forward Darren Hay, who has joined the Robins on a permanent deal until the end of this season.
