Green, white and gold adorned central London streets today as thousands of people joined in the annual St Patrick's Day parade.
More than 30,000 Londoner's lined the streets to watch the parade which ran from Hyde Park to Victoria Embankment.
As well as the marching bands and floats there were craft, food stalls and Irish music and dancing.
More than 30,000 people were estimated to have been at the festival on the South Bank of the River Thames.
London mayor Ken Livingstone spoke at the celebrations.
