The band who paved the way for The Rolling Stones and The Beatles are getting back to their roots with a gig at The Eel Pie Club next week.
The Bruvvers, the band who had a string of hits, including the number one Picture Of You, alongside Joe Brown, features two of the original members Pete Oakman and John Clare.
First Formed in the early 60s The Bruvvers became one of the great English rock and roll groups who on an early tour had The Beatles as a support act. Many years later The Bruvvers played at Stella McCartney's birthday party.
The list of musicians members of The Bruvvers have worked with reads like a who's who of rock and roll, among them Sir Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison.
