BRITISH marines serving in Iraq are to receive special packages filled with treats and goodies thanks to the generosity of staff at Harlow-based defence company Raytheon Systems.
The initiative has been organised in support of Raytheon workers who have relatives fighting in the Gulf.
Human resources director Shirley Madin said: "This initiative demonstrates the generosity and camaraderie of the Raytheon workforce. They aren't doing it for the kudos but because they wanted to demonstrate real support for the
real people who are serving out there."
