CHARLTON Athletic Football Club manager Alan Curbishley was at West Hatch High School, Chigwell, to present a host of awards and certificates.
The Premiership boss was joined headteacher Frances Howarth and chairman of governors Ann Miller.
Presented were A-level certificates, AVCE and GNVQ business studies and CACHE diploma in nursery nursing awards.
Special awards presented were:
Outstanding academic achievement, Jenna Griffiths and Paul Green; outstanding progress in AVCE business studies, Sarah Lyons and Rebecca Sullivan; outstanding progress in CACHE, Sandra Terry;.
Services to the sixth form, Emma Manley and Natalie Wilding; outstanding A-level progress, Rohit Lakhanpaul; services to the wider school community, Gemma Carr and Emma Seager.
Entertainment at the presentation evening was provided by Year 12 pupil Cheryl Keefe who sang 'I believe I can fly."
Mrs Howarth said: "We are very proud of all our students' achievements. This evening has been a wonderful opportunity to meet them again and celebrate their successes of which there have been many.
"A part of each student will always remain at school and we hope that a little bit of West Hatch has gone with them, as they embark upon their courses and careers."
