THE Hare Krishna Temple in Aldenham will open its doors to the public on Monday, May 5.
Bhaktivedanta Manor in Hilfield Lane will welcome the public from 11am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the grounds and take part in workshops in Vastu Indian Feng Shui, Ayurveda complimentary medicine, and Mantra Meditation. There will also be workshops in Hatha Yoga, traditional decorative hand and face painting or Mehndi, and how to wear a sari.
There will be a vegetarian cooking demonstration as well as a free vegetarian lunch, guided tours of the manor and its farm, and the opportunity to meet members of the Vaishnava community at home.
There will be an additional open day on Saturday, July 12, from 11am to 4pm.
