THE private Clementine Churchill Hospital in Sudbury Hill, Harrow-on-the-Hill officially opened its new facilities on Tuesday last week, the culmination of a £17 million project which has taken many years.
They include a 33-bed medical nursing suite; a three-bed chemotherapy treatment unit; a 23 room consulting centre, and a new physiotherapy department with a hydrotherapy pool.
The hospital's development continues, with the addition of an extra operating theatre, to complement the current four, which will open in the autumn.
The hospital's executive director, Mike Parsons, said: "This has been a real team effort. The staff's dedication, commitment and enthusiasm to completing this project has been key to getting to where we are today."
