WATFORD RESERVES' title hopes will rest on the shoulders of a young side tonight (Tuesday, April 29) when Nigel Gibbs' side are in action at Southampton.

The Hornets go into the game knowing that three points - and another victory from the still to be arranged home date with West Ham United - will bring the Barclaycard Premiership Reserve League (South) crown back to Vicarage Road, irrespective of how the other contenders do.

However, the victory will have to be achieved by a relatively inexperienced team, although the likes of Richard Lee, Sam Swonnell, Jerel Ifil, Scott Fitzgerald and Anthony McNamee have all figured in the first team recently.
