ADDINGTON VILLAGE 227-9
TONGHAM 54
Addington completely outplayed their West-Surrey visitors to ease into the next round of the National Village Competition on May 11.
Batting first on a hard, bouncy pitch, Addington took advantage of some wayward bowling.
They scored at more than five an over, and after both openers had been dismissed unluckily, Shamsheer hit an effortless 68 from just 54 balls.
His innings included five sixes.
Noman (31) and Francis (18 not out) went on to add useful runs as Addington batted out their 40 overs.
Tongham, with one man short, never looked likely to reach the target.
Only Radtke (26) offered any resistance as they were dismissed in 14.3 overs.
Accurate bowling from Noman brought a four wicket haul, while young seamer Tipu struck three times in nine balls to seal a comfortable victory.
