Staff at Deen City Farm were happy bunnies when the man from Legal and General gave them a cheque for £700.
The Windsor Avenue community farm, which promotes the ethical treatment of farm animals and respect for the environment, is a registered charity which relies on donations to keep going. Employees Naomi Richman, Amanda Skelton and Matt Ryder from the financial services company's IT systems office in Croydon raised £350, which was then matched by their bosses.
The donation was part of the company's active community involvement programme which matches cash raised by staff.
