The proposed hostel development on the old Nissan site in Colliers Wood is up for discussion at the next meeting of the town's residents' association on May 12.
The association is also looking for businesses or residents from the ethnic minorities to get involved with its work and meetings.
The aim is to make information available to all and people are being sought to translate for and communicate with non-English speakers.
