A VIOLENT teenager has been jailed for two years for a series of robberies in Watford.
Victoria Paterson, 19, of Gammons Farm Close, north Watford, was found guilty at St Albans Crown Court last Friday.
Paterson's fist victim was a 33-year-old woman who she attacked and robbed in the High Street as she was returning to her car in October last year.
She slashed her across her face and stole her purse, before running off.
Two weeks later Paterson struck again and dragged a 49-year-old woman from her car in Upton Road while demanding money.
But the woman fought back and Paterson ran off into the town centre.
Speaking after the trial, Detective Constable Joe Quinlivan said: "Victoria Paterson was a violent offender who committed two nasty attacks which left both victims very shaken.
"We are focused on making our communities safer and are pleased that Paterson has been removed from our streets."
