THE Horns moved to its current location in Hempstead Road in Watford in the mid 1750s and many a good time has been had during those 250 years. But the pub is probably enjoying its greatest success since Licensees Pam & Dennis Cook took over in July 2001.

With a clear aim to provide service and entertainment for the more mature minded, the pub now offers something for everyone seven days a week. We have traditional jazz Sunday lunchtime, live music Sunday afternoons, bands every Thursday and Saturday, our long running "Open mic" night every Wednesday and the mayhem of "Spike's music quiz" on Sunday nights. We showcase local bands on Mondays and have an over 30s singles night on Tuesdays. Our quality bands play diverse music including R 'n B, Rock 'n Roll, covers bands of the 60's, 70's, Blues Brothers, Van Morrison, The Beatles, The Stones, Glam Rock etc etc etc!

Pub lunches are available 12-3pm Monday through Saturday and evening meals are served from 5 to 7pm Mondays to Fridays. Superb Sunday lunches are available from 12.30pm until we sell out and we hold BBQs whenever the weather permits!

Above all, we take pride in our friendly staff and great atmosphere. Following our major refurbishment in April 2002, we have plans to build a new toilet block in the autumn of 2003 including facilities for the disabled.

Amongst our memorabilia you will find a 360 Rickenbacker signed by Tom Petty, a Les Paul signed by Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac, autographs of Buddy Holly, Sting, Clapton, Knofler, The Beach Boys, Fats Domino, John Lee Hooker - even Phil Lynotts Fender Bass scratch plate from "Live & Dangerous" and more! We are the area's favourite meeting place for musicians and music lovers - hope to see you soon!
