Croydon Schools' Football Association is hoping to finish its borough sides' fixtures on a high note as it seeks

to add to its tally of three trophies in three cup finals

already this season, writes David Lomas.

Tonight (Wednesday, April 30) the Under 12s take on Woking Schools in the Surrey Schools FA's Gibson Cup Final, at Croydon Sports Arena, Albert Road, South Norwood (KO 7.30pm).

It is a busy week next week too, with three important matches taking place. On Tuesday, May 6, the Under 11s travel to Lewes Town's ground to take on Brighton in the South-East England Gills Shield Final (KO 7 pm).

This is followed on Wednesday by the Under 14 South-East England Eagles Trophy final against the winners of the Bromley v North Kent semi-final at the HSBC Group's Sports Ground, Lennard Road, New Beckenham (KO 6.30pm).

And on Thursday, the Under 13s hope to add to their recent success against North Kent when they travel to Farnborough Town's ground to meet Aldershot Schools (KO 6pm).

The Croydon Schools Football Association's annual five-a-side Under 11 championships take place at Monks Orchard School, The Glade, Shirley, on Saturday May 3.

Twenty Primary schools are taking part.

Play is due to start at 9.15am, with the final expected to be at 11.30am.
