FRESH from having a court named in his honour at home club Connaught in Chingford, world number one Peter Nicol goes into action for the first time with England in the European Championships in Nottingham (today) Thursday.
To add extra spice for the Scottish 30-year-old he will first of all face the country he defected from in 2001 in a move that made headlines around the world when he announced his decision to become English.
England will be expecting success as both the men's and women's are seeded to retain their European titles.European Squash Championships
