Cyclists will be able to cross the Hogsmill River, following the construction of a bridge between Elmbridge Avenue, Surbiton, and Green Lane, New Malden.
The bridge has been designed and funded by the London Cycle Network and its opening coincides with the launch of a new guide detailing cycle routes in Kingston.
Copies of the guide can be picked up from the Guildhall and the borough's libraries and cycle shops.
