A ROMANIAN asylum seeker faces deportation after pleading guilty to running a "fraud factory".
Blackfriars Crown Court heard how armed police raided a premises in Wallhouse Road, Slade Green, in the early hours of Christmas morning last year.
Officers found items including a card machine, blank cards, card readers and drills, all used for cloning credit cards.
The scam could have resulted in the theft of millions of pounds from people whose card details were stolen at cash machines, the court heard.
Mirel Copilul, aged 42, who lived at the premises, has already been served with deportation papers.
He will be sentenced next month.
