IT IS nearly 60 years since the last civilian was killed by enemy fire in the Second World War.
Hitler's forces launched their final Doodlebug at Orpington on March 27, 1945, killing 34-year-old Ivy Millichamp.
The first flying V-1 rocket hit Swanscombe in June 1944 and a further 10,000 fell across England, until the last one landed between Kynaston Road and Court Road.
Now, to mark the anniversary, News Shopper is looking for readers to share their memories of the day.
If you have memories of the devastation caused by the Doodlebugs, call 01689 885790.
