A SCHOOL for under-fives has been labelled "outstanding" following independent inspections last year.
The Robert Owen Early Years Centre, Commerell Street, Greenwich, was described as "extremely effective" in the Ofsted report.
The report highlighted how children responded well to the "high levels of care and support they receive" leading to increased confidence and enjoyment of learning.
Also praised were the quality of the centre's teaching and learning, the curriculum and the good links it enjoys with parents.
Head of centre Judith Stevenson OBE said: "This inspection highlights our ongoing dedication and enthusiasm for meeting the needs of young children and their families.
"We are very pleased to have our work recognised in the report."
