CHILDREN from a Sidcup primary school are working with a charity to provide help for tsunami victims in south-east Asia.
The Days Lane Primary School youngsters have been raiding cupboards at home and using their pocket money to fill a lorry load of toiletries, dried foods, medical and educational supplies which will be transported to the affected areas by Smile International.
Headteacher Noel Lake said: "Families at Days Lane are never slow to show their generosity. The children have heard all the news reports and we have discussed the tragedy in assembly.
"They are pleased they can do something that may help children their own age across the other side of the world," he added.
