THE WORK of a renowned Spanish painter based in Beckenham is on display in one of the area's galleries.
Manuel Quintanilla's vibrantly-coloured Tulips and Picasso-esque Guitar are just two of the many paintings which can be viewed and bought at The Gallery, High Street, Beckenham.
Quintanilla was born in 1924 in Burgos, Spain. He moved to Beckenham in 1972 and has also published stories, novels and essays, including a biographical work on Picasso and a manifesto on Essentialism.
He tends to paint in series and likes to diversify styles and techniques.
