A shipping museum is planning to combine fun with learning this half-term.
The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, is offering a range of activities for youngsters, including story telling, colouring-in, dressing up and brass rubbing. Bugler Boy Timmins will also be around to tell his story.
The usual activities are still on offer, the warships, the roperym where craftsmen still make ropes and the award-winning wooden walls, as well as the galleries and exhibitions.
Historic Dockyard, Dock Road, Chatham, February 12-20, 10am to 6pm (Bugler Boy story at 2pm), £6.50-£10, thedockyard.co.uk
