A GROUP of civil servants went back to nature to help clean up a park.
A media team from Whitehall cut down reeds and made willow fencing at the Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park, John Harrison Way.
The afternoon is one in a series of challenges which have been organised to get different businesses across the borough to work for the community.
A spokesman for Volunteers Greenwich, which helped to organise the day, said: "We are trying to get more businesses on board for this programme because everyone benefits.
"Employees stay longer in a organisation when they know it's helping the community."
