FUNDRAISING by staff at a betting shop has proved a winner for three community groups.
The four employees at Ladbrokes in Erith, together with the company's other shops across the country raise funds each year for the company's community trust.
Lyn Tabett, Sheila Holland, Dawn Selby and Debbie Cathrew then nominated groups to recieve a grant from the community.
They gave £500 to the Friends of Shenstone School, £500 to Sharks Swimming Club and £1,000 to Bexley Downs Syndrome Group.
This was in addition to £2,500 already given to the Friends Retired Greyhounds Trust and £500 to Westbrooke School.
