A POPULAR nightspot and its customers have given £400 to help sick children.
Deja Vu, London Road, Swanley, raised the cash through collections on the door of its premises aw well as at the bar.
It has donated the cash to the refurbished children's ward at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.
"We wanted to give something back to the community," said Deja Vu general manager Malcolm Liddle-Grainger.
Margaret Bradwell, lead nurse in the paediatrics and neo-natal unit, says the hospital is delighted with the donation. "Along with the refurbishment, we are currently replacing all of the children's play equipment," she said.
"This donation will certainly help make the children's stay in hospital a happier one."
