REPORTS are circulating today (March 18) that American hip-hop star P Diddy is considering buying Crystal Palace Football Club.
National media reports suggest the award-winning music producer wants to buy the struggling club, which went into administration earlier this year.
The rap star, whose real name is Sean Combs, is apparently weighing up a multi-million pound bid for the club, previously owned by Simon Jordan.
According to The Sun newspaper, Diddy's UK spokesman has confirmed he is interested in buying Palace.
Administrators were appointed to Selhurst Park in January after the football club failed to pay its debts.
The administrators were appointed to rescue the club and reconstruct its finances and are urgently seeking buyers.
In January, administrators said: “Our role now is to find a buyer quickly to provide certainty for the employees, players and fans for the future.
"We are hoping our appointment will be short-lived as we understand there are many interested buyers.”
