A BUSY road in Foots Cray has reopened following yesterday's (March 17) fire on an industrial estate.
Six fire engines were in Cray Road yesterday morning tackling the blaze at Volks-Apart car part specialists, which started at around 6.30am.
Gas cylinders were thought to have been involved and a large cordon was placed around the charred building all morning and into the afternoon.
The road is thought to have reopened at around lunchtime.
Police were forced to close the road and divert traffic along Foots Cray High Street and Maidstone Road.
Workers from nearby businesses were evacuated and buses were placed on diversion.
