Mr Hancock was rescued from the fire but died in hospital
A 52-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with the murder of a man who died following a fire at his flat.
Frank Hancock, 63, was rescued by firefighters from his home in Pattenden Road, Catford, on February 4.
He was taken to Lewisham Hospital suffering from severe burns before being transferred to Chelmsford Hospital where he died on February 9.
Patricia Malcolm, of Stanstead Road, Catford, was charged with his murder on Wednesday (Feb 24).
She has been remanded in custody to appear at Greenwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday (Mar 1).
